On-Page SEO Checker – Assess the content you have written and identify areas to improve on to ensure it is optimized for search engines

Site Auditing – Run an audit to identify technical issues your site has and fix them by implementing the recommendations Semrush made. This feature will be helpful if you are a  technical SEO.

While Semrush Pro has great features beginners and small businesses need, it’s important you know the limitations should you decide to commit to it after the 30-day free trial:

The number of times you can refresh metrics on a particular keyword from the Keyword Manager is limited to 250 per month.

The process is the same as Semrush Pro, but I will restate it again should, you skip it while using the table of content.

Semrush Pro vs Semrush Guru – What’s the difference?

Content Marketing Tool Kit, Historical Data, Google Looker Studio and Device Tracking are important features that make the difference between Semrush Pro and Semrush Guru.

Semrush Pro lacks these features while Semrush Guru has them in addition to all features available on Semrush Pro. 

Another difference is the limitation in data reporting. Semrush Guru is more generous than Semrush Pro as it allows you to pull more data.

 For example, Semrush Guru allows you to crawl up to 300,000 pages per month, plus create and manage 15 SEO projects per month.

 You can’t compare that to Semrush Pro which has a limit of 100,000-page crawls per month and 5 SEO projects. 

So the major takeaway here is that Semrush Pro is for beginners and small businesses while Semrush Guru is for mid-size businesses and agencies that manage SEO projects for clients.

How To Cancel Semrush Free Trial

After the 30-day free trial, your account will be charged for Semrush Pro or Semrush Guru depending on the plan signed up for. 

Keep in mind you entered your billing details while creating your free trial account. Chances are you won’t want that to happen, and the only option is to cancel your Semrush free trial before the 30th day. As I stated in the title tag of this post, I will show you how to cancel your Semrush free trial before your account is charged. 

There are three ways through which you can cancel your Semrush free trial:

1.  Login to your account and fill out the form Semrush provides you. Click the Submit button when you are done. A customer service representative from Semrush will reach out to you shortly and begin canceling your free trial. 

2. Login to your account and navigate to the Subscription info page. Find the link that says “active” next to ” recurring” and follow the ” contact us” link to the cancellation form. 

3. Send the last 4 digits of the credit card you entered when signing up for the free trial, and the type of credit card to Semrush via the support team contact form. Also, be sure to enter the exact email address you used to create an account for Semrush free trial. A customer support team member will take it up from there and help you cancel your free trial, so your account won’t be charged.

How To maximize Semrush free trial before you cancel it

Once you cancel your Semrush free trial, you can’t get another even if you use a different email address to sign up again. Keep in mind you have to enter your billing details and Semrush has a record of the previous one you entered. 

So the best thing is to maximize the 30-day free trial while it lasts. 

For instance, you can do your keyword research for one year to identify keywords you can write for in the next year. You can also audit your site, to identify technical issues it has and fix it.  These are low-hanging fruits you can pick while using Semrush Pro free trial. 

For Semrush Guru, you can use the Historical Data feature to get insights into your competitor’s site for a period of time.
